The Petra Collection

The Petra collection embodies the natural vibes that I love so much. These bring me peace…I love being able to just create something that I love and I’m proud to put out into the world. Sometimes it can get overwhelming in life, and we start just doing things quickly. To be fast, because let’s face it…there’s a lot going on. But when I create my best work, and enjoy the process which is most important as an artist…it takes the time that it takes. And these were no exception. It may seem simple now…but I had these sweet feathers sitting in front of me for weeks….playing with color combinations and ideas of how I want these to flow. Then when it finally came time to making them…it wasn’t until the third was finished that I realized it was perfect. And had to remake the other two. The first rounds were not sitting right. But the final product brought me peace and so much enjoyment! I know I’ve created the perfect pieces when I’m excited to photograph them. I hope you love these as much as I do!
